Meet The Artists

Gordon Shepard

As a storyteller, clown, and artist, Gordon has lived many lives and continues to research and write about his passion: the circus.  Born in New York City, Gordon’s interest in the circus was inspired by his mother who gave him grease paint and his grandmother who made him costumes. His passion for art was passed on by his father, Otis Shepard, who was the Art Director for Wrigley’s Chewing Gum. Now, Gordon loves to draw circus themes and faces. Currently, Gordon makes art at The Arc of San Francisco as well as Creativity Explored.
