Cindy Lam

Born in China, Cindy Lam is a mixed media collage artist living in San Francisco. Her signature “ransom note”-style collage combines expressive cut-out letter collage on painted backgrounds with stream of consciousness narratives and eclectic lists. Always surprising, her works have covered personalities such as Yoko Ono and John Lennon, song titles that include the word “crying,” and even lists of “Famous Herbs and Spices.”  Recently Cindy began to expand her talents to sculpting as well. Cindy currently makes her work in the Howard Street Art Studio at The Arc of San Francisco.
