Judith Carr

I am interested in creating art from life.  I am influenced by traditional work and I enjoy creating landscape, still life and figurative paintings based on artists that inspire me.  My process involves sketching out my ideas then transferring them to canvas.  I also enjoy experimenting with mixed media and vibrant colors.  Drawing and painting from life is another important aspect of my work.

I have been experimenting with more objects in my painting such as sheep, barns and trees.  My most successful paintings have been with oak trees and clouds.
